Dr. Owen is developer of the PrescriptFit™ Medical Nutrition Therapy program used in over 100 clinics throughout the United States. PrescriptFit is a unique dietary strategy that measures empiric outcomes of both symptoms and disease endpoints. The strategy adds a food group into the diet at defined intervals allowing patients to intuitively learn bow food groups fit into their treatment strategy and to experience how food groups impact symptoms or disease outcomes. PrescriptFit strategies do not use portion control and use Splurging as a normal behavior, both unique strategies in nutrition therapy. PrescriptFit is available to all specialties dealing with nutrition-related disease and obesity.
